As one of the major hospitality providers at Henley, Maidenhead Steam is pleased to announce the creation of the Henley Royal Regatta Garden Party.
For 2010 we have secured an exclusive 4-acre riverside facility amidst the beautiful grounds of Bird Place, a Tudor mansion with late Georgian additions. The house and grounds are adjacent to Regatta HQ and Henley Bridge.
The presentation is exactly as our clients have come to expect. A quality marquee with classic furnishings and fittings, exterior teak garden furniture, superb floral decorations and a high standard for both catering and wines. A complimentary bar throughout.
In addition our fleet will offer two 2-hour cruises during the day to take in the racing and to view the wonderful eccentricities of the event. The morning cruise will be optional. By all means stay, enjoy the beautiful garden and river scenery while listening to the resident Jazz Band and sipping a glass of champagne - the choice is yours!
A 4-course luncheon will be served to your reserved table with fine wines from Louis Latour and finished off with brandy and liqueurs. In fact the menu for the day will follow exactly as in previous years. Top catering, impeccable service.
There is a reasonable amount of car parking available within the grounds allocated, for a cost of £10 per car, on a 'first booked, first given' basis. Our No 2 car park is on land adjacent for which there will be a £20 per day per car charge. Our complimentary mini-shuttle bus will be ever present at Henley station. The whole event will be professionally managed with flair and panache.
